A bad album by your favorite band is a bummer. When a great band makes a terrible record, it feels like a personal insult. What did you do to deserve such mediocrity? Why has the band forsaken you? You’ve gone to all the shows, you not only bought the last record but you also bought it on vinyl, you’ve got the shirt and the poster and you force all your friends to listen to them on road trips.
