Genie In A Bottle (the Christina Aguilera song) is a bummer. It’s a bummer because even though it was the jam in 1999, when you listen to the lyrics it’s kind of creepy. Christina Aguilera was cute back then and everything, but now she looks like a scary clown and picturing something “rubbing her the right way” is the stuff that extended therapist visits are made of. Also, anyone who knows anything about genies knows that you rub the LAMP and not the GENIE and it’s about WISHES not DOING IT. Jeez, Christina. Get with it. Also a bummer: Candy, by Mandy Moore.
